My Wonderful Husband...

I've been back at work now for a few weeks after about 5 weeks off with morning sickness! Yay! It's been really hard though and an everyday struggle as some days I've felt so rough, but Simon has been AMAZING and has really taken great care of me! In fact yesterday, i got home and after a particularily hard day and he had tidyed the whole flat, done all the washing and the ironing, changed all the bed clothes and even had dinner ready!! And that was as well as doing his uni work!! Apart from all that though he really has been my total support and I love him so much for being there for me always. I could go on forever but i'll tell him all the rest! lol...So this entry is my "Ode to Simon"...love you always bunny xxx

Lots Has Happened......

I'm rubbish at this stuff - as you can see from the gap since my last entry - but I'm gonna have to get better!  As you may tell from the above little ticker/countdown thing, WE ARE EXPECTING!!!

I've been really suffering with morning sickness over the past couple of months, and am just starting to get over it now.  I thought I was gonna be lucky when for the first few weeks I suffered no ill effects... but no such luck!!! 

So "Is it a girl or a boy!??" as many people keep on asking.  We will not be finding out... despite Simon's impatience!!!  Though he has another 4 week to persuade me otherwise as that is when I have my 20 week scan!! 

Simon has this past week finished working at the Timber Yard and started studying at University full time - a degree in Forensic Computing... (whatever that means) which he is very excited about!  I am very proud of his determination to gain this qualification.. he is working really hard for our family. 

So far today I have been out for breakfast with my friend Stella (MacDonalds... yum) ... the first time I've been up for anything in the morning for a long time.  And now I am getting in practice by helping look after her twins!!  Simon is currently picking up our new car from London... we are almost as excited about that as we are about the baby..... but not quite.  Haha.  Watch this space for more information about the car!! 

Saturday!!!

Spent a lot of the day with my friends Stella and David and their gorgeous twins.. Oliver and Jemima... while Simon did some studying and an essay.  I played hairdresser and put Mimi's hair in bunches for the first time....
